History
Vigneti Pittaro was established in 1970 by Pietro Pittaro, the heir
of a family of vine dressers with over 450 years tradition.
The
vineyards cover a surface of 85 hectares, equal to a length of 400 kilometres
of rows of vines, in the sunny plains of Friuli.
The
Zona DOC (Controlled Denomination of Origin Area) is Le Grave ("the
gravels") del Friuli.
